Believe it or not, this generation MR2 is aging into collector territory now that they turning 20+ years old. This early production ’01 model was imported from the US market several years ago. The American MR2’s were never sold by Toyota into the Canadian market, so finding one here in Ontario means it is either a JDM import, or a left hand drive US market example.
This particular MR2 has come from a curated collection of small cars that have been lovingly kept and well cared for; always stored inside and out of the sun, very clearly never winter driven, all OEM equipment retained either stored or on the car. Zink plating is still visible in the bays and underneath. The roof and trim vinyl is all in great shape. This Spyder is in nice enough condition you can head directly from your storage barn to a car show and turn heads. It is mechanically turn-key. The minimal on-board electronics are all 100%
